Save Animals Rarity Glossary

Chat screams Mythic, Admin, Secret, and Godly in the same breath. In Save Animals!, rarity labels are only useful when you tie them to roles: starter tutor, core earner, chase target, flex showpiece, or fodder sell. This glossary is the vocabulary bridge between visual rarity bands and the decisions in animal roles, animal tier list, and early-game tiers.

Protect? can rename or reskin creatures after events. Roles survive cosmetic churn better than exact strings.

Why rarity alone misleads

Rarity describes pull difficulty and spectacle—not guaranteed income. A mid-band earner can outpay a flashy flex rare on pads. Conversely, a high-rarity pull can still be fodder if it duplicates a better pad occupant.

Always ask two questions:

  1. Income — Does it beat my worst pad?
  2. Risk — Will it attract steals or script filters?

The embedded video mid-page shows Admin-style finds in live play. Use it to connect visual hype to defense planning, not to assume every glowing creature belongs front-row on your ranch.

Band language (conceptual, not a fixed roster)

Exact names shift; bands behave similarly enough to plan:

Band (conceptual)Typical roleNotes
Common / basicStarter tutorCheap learning in getting started
Uncommon / midCore earner candidateBulk of ranch income
Rare / epicChase or earnerCompare to tier list before selling
Mythic / legendaryChase rareDeep Zoo targets in rare animals
Admin / event flexShowpieceSteal magnet; see steal and defend

This table is role language, not a promise that every UI label maps 1:1 forever.

Income rarity versus flex rarity

Income rarity — best measured on pads over several collects. Judge with upgrade priority in mind.

Flex rarity — social value, chat reactions, thumbnail bait. May underpay but still matter for collectors.

Conflicts happen when the coolest animal is not the best earner. Decide which goal you optimize before rearranging pads—especially before offline earnings logout.

Chase rarity and route literacy

Higher bands usually live deeper in the Evil Zoo. That means longer chases and higher tilt. Do not chase mythic bands until evil zoo routes and escape the Zookeeper feel routine.

Session order from session routine: codes, warm-up, economy, then ambition.

Admin band and moderation optics

“Admin” creatures signal spectacle. They attract steals and sometimes sketchy trade DM scams. Flex placement without defense is volunteering for raids.

Scammers promise “free Admin” via fake Trellos or loaders—read scam watch and never trade credentials for pets.

Fodder bands are healthy

Selling duplicates and low earners is normal progression. Panic-selling a chase band because one death tilted you is the real mistake. Use tiers, not embarrassment.

Rarity filters in scripts

Auto farm menus let you filter by rarity bands. Misconfigured filters sell flex uniques or delete ranch-placed earners. Read script safety and keyless claims before trusting hub menus.

Wrong-game bestiaries

Raise Animals, Rescue Animals, and Build a Zoo wikis use similar words for different creatures. Confirm place ID 123822115505881 before importing rarity tiers from another tab.

Codes that grant animals

Promo rewards sometimes drop creatures directly. Redeem via working codes, then sort by role using this glossary—not by chat hype. Verify strings honestly; see codes myths when lists look too good.

Trading language without a formal market

Players negotiate with words like “flex,” “S-tier earner,” or “filler.” Align vocabulary using value and trading so arguments end at tier pages instead of spam pings.

Patch drift

Shutdowns can tweak visuals without renaming bands. After patch notes, re-test income on core earners—even if the creature looks rarer now.

Rarity glossary workflow

  1. Pull creature from Zoo.
  2. Name the band visually.
  3. Assign role (earner / chase / flex / fodder).
  4. Check animal tier list.
  5. Place, sell, or defend.

Teaching squads

When friends disagree W/L, send them this glossary plus players index. Shared words reduce bad sells and bad steals.

Private practice

Test flex placement in private servers before showcasing in public lobbies.

Closing note

Rarity is the adjective; role is the job—assign the job before the pad.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Save Animals questions.

Is there an official published rarity chart?

Not a stable public roster. Use roles, tiers, and in-game discovery after patches.

Does Admin always mean best income?

No. Admin often signals flex and steal risk more than top earner.

How does this differ from animal roles?

Roles describe jobs; this glossary maps rarity bands to those jobs.

Should I keep one of every rarity?

Only if you enjoy collecting. Economically, prioritize earners and uniques you can defend.
